Description

Share and discuss thoughts on: 1. Management = Man + Manage + Men. It was always about people and NOT about processes, tools and methodology!!! 2. Agile, especially SCRUM, brings focus back onto people!!! 3. Explain "natural progression" of an agile project manager / scrum master to Coaching & Mentoring 4. What is coaching and mentoring? Narrate / bring out live examples. Not in details due to time constraints!!! 5. SCRUM itself is based on coaching principles with strong + sharp questions across SCRUM life cycle like 3 questions in daily standups, questions in retrospects etc... Did you think of SCRUM this way before? Did you think of coaching & mentoring as a natural progression for an agile project manager?

Pré-requis

Should know what is Agile & SCRUM.

Bénéfices pour les participants

SCRUM is "deceptively simple" !!! Attendees will benefit by knowing and understanding how SCRUM brings out focus on people keeping processes lightweight and effective. They will learn about, what I call, "natural progression" of a manager to coaching & mentoring. They will also realize the need for coaching & mentoring skills. They will realize that SCRUM is not just another process / methodology. It is much deeper!!! With its deceptively simple framework it "frees" up manager to focus on "team"!!! This new perspective will help them become a better agile project manager, better person & better change catalyst!!! (Hopefully)!!!
