Om Band is working with software development for last 12 years and currently working with SAP Labs. He has worked on projects and products of different size and followed different methodologies and played different roles – developer, manager, scrum master etc. For last 3 years he is actively participating in the scrum and lean transition of his organization.

Description

Retrospective meeting is one of very critical ceremony in scrum, yet many teams fail to use it effectively. Yes! it is really HARD and PAINFUL to see issues, acknowledge them in a forum, deep dive into root cause, find actionable items and finally to follow them completely in a team. This session aims to discuss on how to maximize the benefits of retrospective meetings. How to get everyone 'committed' to retrospective meetings and agreements. How to ensure that the retrospective feedback is not missed. What home-work should the facilitator do before the meeting.
