Biographie

Started my career in June 2004 by developing Java/J2EE web applications. Got introduced to Scrum methodology in May 2006 when I was still a Java developer. Then got myself involved more in Software Quality Assurance. Life took a dramatic turn after doing my Certified Scrum Master (CSM) training with Vodde Bas on May 21-22, 2009. Then started playing the role of Scrum Master which I am very much passionate about. Life after CSM training, is not the same as it used to be before. A spark within myself made me feel that Scrum/Agile is my future. Started reading a lot about Agile, Scrum, XP, Facilitation and Lean. After all I don't want to be a "dead scrum master", because he is a "useless scrum master" as Ken Schwaber rightly said. My career goal is to be a professional Agile/Lean coach or consultant

Description

I will be sharing the thoughts from my experience of 7 years in Software Development industry. Agile methods are intended to deliver value to the customers. But are we doing that really? Think about a scenario, where you have a strict deadline for making a release with two new features. If you don't make this release, you will loose your objectives, bonus, etc., Both the features are under development and there are known problems with those features. All the bugs can't be fixed before the release deadline. Will you go ahead with the release on the target date? Or will you postpone the release in order to fix the bugs and provide quality software? This is what my session will be all about !
