Biographie

Ellen Grove helps teams do great work (and have more fun in the process) through coaching them to create the circumstances in which they can work most productively. Her Agile coaching practice is founded in over a decade of experience leading software testing, development and implementation teams in global enterprises, a passion for exploratory software testing and user-centered design, and a background in community organization. She uses team-building, facilitation and games to support the transition to collaborative work at the team, managerial and enterprise level, and has conquered the challenges of extending Scrum roll-outs to off-shore development partners and multi-site project teams. Training to be a certified facilitator in StrategicPlay® with Lego® SERIOUS PLAY® is the most fun Ellen's had at work in recent history.

Lego® SERIOUS PLAY® is a powerful thinking, communicating and problem solving technique that can help you and your team do serious work through structured play. Through a facilitated process of building, storytelling and reflection, LSP ensures that every person on your team contributes to the discussion, whether the topic is individual aspirations, team relationships, developing a new product or solving a wicked organizational problem. LSP is a great approach to add to your Agile toolkit as it builds shared understandings and agreements quickly -- and it's seriously fun! During this workshop, you will get hands-on experience with the StrategicPlay® with Lego® SERIOUS PLAY® methodology, so that you can see firsthand how this approach unleashes creativity and enables meaningful conversations.
