Biography
Tushar Somaiya is a Certified Scrum Master & Certified Scrum Professional having 10 years of experience in IT industry working in different roles with companies like Kanbay, Satyam, Hexaware & Ness. He has managed multi-million dollar projects for huge conglomerate clients like PCFC, Unilever & HSBC in fix bid as well as EDC/ODC TnM model. He has over 3 years experience in Agile Project Management using SCRUM methodology.
He is a Certified Scrum Master, Certified Scrum Professional, Certified System Business Analysts & ITIL Foundation Certified. He is an active member of IIBA, Scrum Alliance, Computer Society Of India and an active volunteer for PMI Agile Pilot.
Tushar is an internal Agile Coach at Ness Technologies and has written white papers on project sizing & estimation, delivered numerous sessions & presentations on project management. He has developed training courses and conducted various trainings on Agile on SCRUM. He has taken numerous sessions on Agile & SCRUM for PMI Mumbai Chapter. This is a beautiful game to be played to understand agile values and how it is different from traditional methodologies. The game proves live, with metrics, how agile helps bring out value, leverage peoples time by working parallel, bring focus by working on something small, is lean by keeping WIP minimum and not only reduces time to market but also the overall time of the project!!!!
