Biographie

In 2008 Michal became CEO in Internet Marketing Agency. He managed agile adoption there with intention to radically change company culture and strategy as well as improve competitiveness, which includes problem solving, building up knowledge and speed up innovations. In his presentation Michal shares what was the motivation to go agile, what problems he faced during agile adoption and what steps he has taken to overcome it. He will also show why to build agile community is important for national economy and entrepreneurship.

Description

Michal was first to manage agile project in Czech Republic. He has more than 15 years of experience in management of technology companies and project management and 5+ years with agile. He specializes in supporting organizations with adoption of agile techniques to improve work of their development teams, speed up product development, support innovations and management of culture in the company. He was the first who started to build up agile know-how for IT industry in Czech Republic and Slovakia in the form of education and certification center. As a first Scrum Master he has founded Czech-Slovak community of agile “afficionados” Agilia. He speaks at conferences in Czech Republic and also abroad. As a consultant and coach of agile teams he works for companies not only in Czech Republic but also in Slovakia, Germany and Sweden.
